We do not provide any service other than a free environment for collector’s to show off their coins. We do not claim any rights to images or content and there are properties of the author of the entry. Challenge-coin.info strictly provides an avenue to show coins made in the history of challenge coin collecting. As a contributor you must realize images and content are in the public domain and we do not safe guard information. It is up to the content owner to protect their own copyright.

We do reserve the explicit right to utilize content from this site for advertising or writing content for hobby information. All images should be owned by the member uploading to prevent copyright infringement. We do take this very serious and will work with the copyright owner in violations occurring within.

2. Terms of Uploading 

By uploading and adding content to this site you are giving challenge-coin.info permission to show the content for public viewing. All design copyright remains property of the original designer/maker. We do not condone any wrongful use of the information and graphical content. The act of uploading is consent that you have explicit permission to do so, and or you own the product you are taking a picture of. Challenge-coin.info does not take responsibility of the wrongful use of information. 

3. Wrongful Use 

If you feel wrongful use of copyrighted information has occurred please contact us to have the entry in question reviewed for deletion. We do not knowingly infringe or provide any intent in misuse of the copyright holder. If you are the copyright holder please be prepared with proof of such and reasoning not to allow the content to be shown. The simple nature of saying it’s copyright infringement does not automatically start the deletion process. You must provide proof that you are the original owner and the content in our database is against the allowed variations of copyright protection.
Owning a product and taking an image of it is authorized under internet law. However, taking artwork or a product not authorized for use in this manner could be against the law.

4. Use of HTML or Advertising

Use of this site is for information only and not for advertising. No HTML will be allowed in entries as this promotes SPAM and unwanted advertising. Any entry containing HTML will be edited or deleted. This is to prevent the misuse of users trying to engage in profit, trading, or links from this site. We strongly advise against the practice of linking within the database for commercial or private gain.

5. Image Watermarks

All images should be free of watermarks which aid in the way of advertising domain names. Any images that are watermarked with such logos or domain names or a construed attempt in advertising will be deleted and the member will receive an infraction. The website is to stay on target in providing a resource for challenge coin hobbyists.

6. Violations of Terms

Violating our terms of service will lead to warning, infractions, or a permanent ban by username and IP. We hold our terms in high regard to ensure a high quality site for users to enjoy. We highly encourage all users to stay vigilant in attempts by other members to violate the rules set forth by this agreement.
